On this motorcycle trip you will discover architecture, winding mountain roads, jungles, plains with views of the Anapurna, animal national parks and a host of sports activities. Nepal is full of fine Newari architecture that blends with Hindu temples and traditional Buddhist stupas in astonishing harmony. You will be amazed at the imposing views of the immense Himalayan chain that we will see on our motorcycles. Few countries in Asia offer as much nature to the motorcycle traveler as this magical country located between India and Tibet.
Its people, very influenced by the Buddhist tradition, are of an astonishing serenity. Our tour is carried out almost entirely on asphalt roads and in general with little traffic outside the urban areas.
Tour of approximately 1000 km in Royal Enfield motorcyles.

Rest on the edge of the hill admiring the acrobatic flights of dozens of paraglidings that fly over Pokhara Lake. We arrived at our favorite restaurant overlooking the lake for a beer before dinner. Night in Pokhara.

Day 8 Free day in Chitwan, a day to discover this incredible natural park. One of the few in the world where you can opt for a ride in jeeps, on elephants or, if you dare, do it on foot with a guide! Rhinos, tigers, bears, crocodiles and wild elephants are some of the main animals that can be seen within the park. Night in Chitwan.
Day 9 Chitwan - Daman. 4 hours. After seeing the morning elephant bath in the river near our hotel, we left the Chitwan plain behind. Today we will make the highest road of the trip along an unbeatable route both in layout and in its views. We reached Daman at an altitude of 2700m. Food and refreshments in the Tower Restaurant from where there is a unique 360* panorama of the entire Himalayan chain. From Anapurna to Everest all are there in front of our eyes almost touching them from our terrace. Check-in in the afternoon at our hotel located in the middle of a forest. Night in Daman.
Day 10 Daman - Bhaktapur. 6 hours. Crossing the mountain on its north side, we reached the main road of our first journey. Approaching Kathmandu the traffic is chaotic and we make our last stop for lunch in the magical city of Patan, already in the Kathmandu valley. We stroll around Durbar Square and eat in its square. We crossed the Kathmandu Valley to reach our destination, the newari city of Bhaktapur. Night in Bhaktapur.
Day 11 Bhaktapur - Nagarkot - Bhaktapur. 3 hours. In the morning a short ride of 30ksm up to the Nagarkot mountain to have a coffee or a few beers in front of the best view of the Himalayan chain in the area. Bhaktapur is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its rich culture, temples and works of art made of wood, metal and stone. Night in Bhaktapur.
Day 12 Bhaktapur - Nepalese Tibetan border. 4 hours. In the morning we leave towards the border of the Bhote Kosi river near the border with Tibet. Today once again spectacular views await us following the Araniko road that connects the Kathmandu valley with Tibet. It has very steep climbs and reaches Lhasa in Tibet. We will stay in one of the best centers in Nepal to practice all kinds of adventure sports. Night at Last Resort.
Day 13 Nepalese Tibetan border - Katamandu. 4 hours. After breakfast we head down the same road back to Kathmandu. We said goodbye to our motorcycles and left them at the entrance of Bhaktapur to avoid the chaotic traffic of the capital. In the afternoon transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Rest of the afternoon free to visit Kathmandu and its wonders. Durbar Square, and the surrounding palaces. Thamel area is full of shops, restaurants, cafes with a lot of atmosphere and shops where you can buy trekking equipment. Others would prefer to visit the Pashupatinath temple and the nearby Ghats, where Hindu rite cremations are performed. Climate and clothing during the trip
The average temperature in Nepal during travel is 26 ° / 28 °. The weather is generally dry and sunny, but it can change and temperatures can drop in the mountains and in some cases in the morning. We should have very sunny and warm days, some cold nights, and maybe a few hours of rain. Therefore, it is advisable to wear high sun protection cream, sunglasses and gloves.
Motorbike gear: helmet (best an open one), windtobreaker, gloves, closed boots, and motorbike equipment for the rain (those in two parts preferably). In windy days, the top of the windtobreaker could be enough for not feeling cold. In this season, the rain is rare, but the weather is unpredictable. If you are sensitive to the cold, bring protection. A motorbike tank bag is very useful to keep the camera, hand gloves or small things within reach.
Road and driving conditions in Nepal
Driving in Nepal can be chaotic on the outskirts of urban areas and with totally different rules than what we are used to in Europe, although one adapts quickly to it. An advantage is that in general there is little traffic on the roads and they do not drive fast. Most of the roads are paved and are in a very good general condition, although we can do a few kilometers of dirt track.
This circuit can be done by a driver with little experience due to the ease of the route and the good general condition of the roads.
Nepal is an incredible country and full of magic, but it is not an easy country for which you do not have patience or are not used to unforeseen events and delays. If you decide to join the group, keep in mind that you will have to be flexible with unexpected situations and possible delays due to the special conditions of the country. As I imagine you know, this type of motorcycle adventure carries a certain risk that when you come to the trip I suppose you are aware of it and accept. Good disposition and a good dose of humor are essential to enjoy this trip to the fullest
The Royal Enfield
The Royal Enfield continues to be manufactured in the Indian factories of Madras after the closing of the head office in England in the Fifties.
There have been very few aesthetic and technical changes since then. It is a very solid motorbike with a legendary look and motor noise. With a 500cc engine, the Royal Enfield gives a pleasurable sense of a bygone time on the Indian roads. The Bullet is far from being a fast motorbike but it is the best adapted for the hard conditions of the roads in this part of the world.
Our fleet of Royal Enfields motorcycles are all 500cc models with right side 5 speed gearbox, disk brake and electric start.
