We guide you across the highest plateaus and passes in the world, over 5,600 m above sea level. From the torrid Gangetic plains and the chaotic capital of Delhi, we arrive in a completely different world: the region of Ladakh. We enter the high plateau that crosses the Himalayan range along a road full of surprises. We ride up to Umling La, the highest motorable pass in the world at 5,800 m. This journey is accessible only to riders with experience in off-road and dirt-track riding. Possibly the most thrilling motorcycle adventure in all of Asia.

A day of pure adventure, emotion, and lunar landscapes. As we climb, the sense of isolation is total: no villages, no traffic, no noise—only the sound of the bikes and the vastness of the Himalayas. Climate and clothing
During the trip period, Delhi exceeds 30°C. In the mountains, in the valleys of Leh and Zanskar, the climate is much cooler (20–25°C) with sunny days. When crossing the passes, the weather can change quickly, bringing cold or rain. It is normal to go from one extreme to another in a single day. Above 5,000 m, the sun is intense and there is little shade. High sun protection, sunglasses, and gloves are recommended.
Motorcycle gear
Helmet, motorcycle jacket with thermal liner, gloves, boots, and rain suit (preferably two-piece). Bring warm clothing for passes above 4,000 m. The weather in Ladakh is generally dry but unpredictable.
Road conditions and riding in India
This trip is one of the most spectacular motorcycle journeys one can take. Riding in India is not easy at first, but you get used to it quickly. The route mainly follows roads with little traffic. In the valleys of Leh and Zanskar, road conditions are good: 60% good asphalt, 40% dirt, stone, or mud tracks. Some areas may be flooded. Possible landslides may delay the journey.
Advanced level required.
Even for experienced riders, a 2–3 day advanced training course is recommended.
India is an extraordinary country but demands patience and flexibility. Unexpected events and delays are possible. By joining the group, you accept these conditions, as well as the inherent level of risk of this type of adventure.
Good humor and a positive attitude are essential to fully enjoy this unforgettable trip.
